COSMIC CHRISTMAS - CHRISTMAS FROM HEAVEN'S EYES
Grace Covenant offers a fresh new perspective on the traditional Christmas Story in its sermon series, “Cosmic Christmas.” In contrast to the common scenery of Angels, Shepherds, Manger, and Wise Men, we are going to go “back stage” for the director’s cut. The opening chapter of the Gospel of John provides a heavenly perspective on the earthly events, answering questions like: How did the cosmos begin? What is wrong with the cosmos? How does Christmas change the story of the cosmos? How are we a part of this story? Why does God love the cosmos?
“This Christmas series is different than most,” says Dr. Tim Brown, Pastor of Grace Covenant. “Rather than reporting on Christmas from the typical characters and scenes, we are walking behind the curtain to talk to the Director about where this story began, how He entered the drama himself, and how humanity is invited to experience glory.”
The Cosmic Christmas series will run every Sunday of December with a finale on Christmas Eve. Come and join Grace Covenant Church in the Oaklands Corporate Center at 444 Creamery Way, Exton, on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and on Christmas Eve. On Christmas eve, there is a Family Service at 4:00 p.m. or a Candlelight Service at 8:00 p.m. For more information check out our Christmas in Exton website at www.christmasinexton.com.
